Workplace Wellness and Ergonomics
Melanie Massey Physical therapy has therapists that are experts at modifying work stations to increase efficiency and prevent or relieve pain. If you are experiencing pain that isn’t relieved by modifications to your work station, we can help develop a treatment plan to relieve your pain and improve your mobility.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor muscles are responsible for supporting the bladder, rectum, and uterus. With age, gravity, and stretching caused by childbirth these muscles can weaken leading to urinary leakage, fecal leakage, and prolapse. Conversely, the pelvic floor muscles can be too tight resulting in abdominal pain or pain with intimacy. Physical therapists trained in women’s health can train the pelvic floor muscles granting relief and potentially avoiding surgery.
