Summer Camps

MMPT began hosting summer camps several years ago. The themes of these camps include Friend Builders, Sensory Camp, Getting Fit Camp, Sensory Art Camp, Handwriting Help, Kindergarten Readiness, Speech Sounds, and Reading Help Camp. These provide a fun and entertaining venue for children to receive supervised play, which targets areas of weakness including speech clarity, academic shortcomings, generally poor fitness, and hypersensitivities to touch, movement, or noises. This closely monitored environment also provides an arena for children to learn to be a better friend and promotion of inclusion occurs naturally with the designated activities of the camps.
